Origami City. And Nine Other Amazing Miniature Cities. (via DimitirijevicMilos)
“Japanese artist Wataru Ito created this origami city from paper. Besides paper, it has only glue, an art knife and a hole puncher.”

This necklace was made as a gift for a friend of mine. I don’t normally make jewelry but I do enjoy the challenge of creating such small example of origami. These 7 butterflies are made of two sheet of paper each. The upper wings are made from 2.5cm square sheets of paper. The lower wings are made from 1.25cm square sheets of paper. The wings are attached together using a piece of wire which is wrapped around them and molded into antennae. The antennae attach the butterflies to the silver chain. Using a trick with lacquer you can cause a colour bleed to create the lighter bands at the edges.

A jungle I made in a box out of origami, paints, things I collected from a few walks. This was particularly hard to do as I had to scale size the origami, also I folded metal into origami roses, that was very fiddly.
