Miniature Food - Birthday Party by PetitPlat Food Art - Stephanie Kilgast on Flickr.
Happy Birthday to this Tumblog! One year ago I started this blog, kind of on a whim but mostly because it was a thought that would not leave my mind and I had to get rid of it. Seven hundred posts later (plus a few), here we are. Many, many thanks to MetaFilter, who inspired me to make this and have been a core following throughout. Thought I would commemorate this occasion with something from PetitPlat, the greatest miniature food artist of our time. Be sure to check out her Flickr (where most of her pics are creative commons licensed) and etsy where you can purchase many of her wonderful creations. I hope you are enjoying following my brain crack! If you want to tell your friends, please do, I would love more followers. As a gift to myself for making it through a whole year, I am taking two weeks off. I’m going away on vacation. Maybe I will find mini things to bring back for you! In the meantime, have fun looking through the archive, and if you’ve got any ideas for posts, please submit them!
