Made this today at the Pittsburgh Nerdfighters September Gathering. It’s a tiny, tiny book! We were making cards for people living in nursing homes, and I went off on a bit of a tangent. I’m surprisingly proud of this. Thanks to Lisa…
DIY Mini Book Necklaces with Charms. I have posted 3 or 4 mini book jewelry tutorials and I keep saying, “Oh, this is the best one.” But this is my favorite. Clear instructions, love the grommet closures tied with leather, love the keyhole. For the tutorial and other ideas go to Art by Wendy here. I got a GC to Michaels and will get a crop-a-dile using coupons of course.
This miniature magazine manuscript by Charlotte Bronte sold for £690,000 (approx 1.06 million US dollars).
The 20-page manuscript contains more than 4,000 words of tiny script, produced by Charlotte Brontë in 1830 when she was aged just 14. It is part of the series of The Young Men’s Magazines, inspired by a set of toy soldiers bought for Branwell Brontë by his father, Patrick, in 1826.
